We feel so privileged to have shared in so many special days throughout 2013, and it's really tough picking out just 3 top pics, but here they are!
It may have been November, but Anthony and Catherine's special day was unspoilt by rain, snow or the elements! After their church ceremony in Century Methodist Church, Llanishen, the reception was held at the four-star New House Country Hotel. With panoramic views over the Vale of Glamorgan, this venue is close to the city of Cardiff yet feels the perfect retreat from the busy-ness and hectic rush of the centre. The hotel grounds provide a perfect location for couple and group shots, and the interior is full of character with open fires and period features. Take a look through our pictures and you'll get the idea!
The autumn colours were fantastic for Amy and Paul's engagement shoot in the area of Llandaff, Cardiff.
It was a beautiful sunny day in August, and Drew and David said their vows at St Martin's Church, then had some photos taken outside Hereford Cathedral. Picturesque! There is something really timeless about these landmark buildings, the perfect backdrop for pictures to treasure for ever.
This venue is absolutely stunning. A Grade II listed building, the Miskin Manor is set in 25 acres of beautifully kept grounds and stays faithful to its 19th century heritage both internally and externally.
At Evoke Photo we are passionate about creating the best, most beautiful wedding images that our couples will treasure forever. But we don't want that to be at the expense of them being natural and enjoying their special day!
Bryn Meadows Golf Club is perfectly situated at the top of the hills which overlook the Sirhowy valley, close to Blackwood, Caerphilly and a short drive from Cardiff. For wedding photography at Bryn Meadows, the panoramic views are really the top selling point for this venue, but the hotel is also known for its four-star luxury and excellent service. The staff are friendly, flexible and accommodating, and the reception rooms feel light and airy. The sweeping golf club grounds give plenty of scope for some couple shots with a romantic atmosphere. We highly recommend this venue!
Oxford is an amazing city. Its relatively small centre is packed tightly with beautiful, historic buildings - the famous dreaming spires. Lush green meadows can be found in the centre of the city itself behind Christchurch college, and the mixture of red buses and bicycles lend themselves easily to a vintage theme. Andrew and Eleanor met as students at St Edmund Hall, so for them, Oxford was the perfect location to say their vows when they began to plan their wedding.
