Amy and Paul's big day at the start of May was so gloriously sunny, you could easily think it was high summer. Their reception at Llansantffraed Court near Abergavenny in Monmouthshire used the stunning period features of both the manor and ornamental gardens as the perfect setting for some carefully crafted vintage group shots.
Inspired by artist Jack Vettriano, whose work often features small groups of men and women in an Edwardian setting, the couple used their wedding car and some parasols to recreate vintage images. The bridal party were positioned in wide angle shots in the beautiful landscaped grounds with the hills in the background; picture perfect.
The venue's proximity to open countryside provided the perfect escape for the bride and groom's couple shots, and the vivid colour of the flowers in the field and the bright blue sky made these dramatic images.
The couple arranged a tug of war in the gardens which also created some stunning shots with the manor and Chinese Hat marquees in the background.
